Experienced Motivated Leader in General Aviation Wanted!
An expanding Part 145 General Aviation Repair Station is looking for an experienced Avionics Technician Lead with 5 years experience diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading Avionics in General Aviation Aircraft to join their company. The position will require the applicant to perform installations, maintenances, inspections, and troubleshooting of General Aviation Avionics. The position requires someone who is not only self-motivated, but someone who can work with the Avionics Department Manager to complete jobs in a safe fashion within regulatory conformance.
- 5 Years Prior General Aviation Avionics Experience is required. Including Installations, Diagnosing, IFR Certifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safety best practices.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, stooping, and lifting heavy equipment.
- Some Cross Over between Maintenance/Avionics.
- The ability to work in tight spaces is required.
- Live in the San Angelo, TX area.
- Have their own basic tools.
- Must have a current Driver’s License
- A&P License is a benefit but not required
